Hong Kong, August 2025 – The Global Wine & Spirits Awards Asia (GWSAA) is proud to announce the opening of entries for the 2025 competition, the region's premier event honoring outstanding wines, spirits, sake, and beer. Founded by Debra Meiburg MW, Asia’s first Master of Wine, this prestigious competition brings together a distinguished panel of Masters of Wine, sommeliers, importers, F&B professionals, media, and critics to evaluate and celebrate excellence in the industry.

• Sample Submission: 18 August to 12 September 2025
• Judging: 25–26 September 2025
• Results Announcement: Winners will be notified by mid-October, with public results revealed on 6 November 2025.

Entry Fees:

• Wine/Spirits: HKD 1,500 per entry
• Beer/Mead: HKD 450 per entry
• Asian Food Pairing: HKD 600 per product per dish

Judging Process:
Entries undergo a meticulous evaluation process, including double-blind tastings, individual scoring using a 100-point scale, and panel discussions to finalize medal awards. Top gold winners are re-evaluated to determine the "Best in Show."
